"The Original Liquid Applied Rubber Roof Shield System" TM

Energy Incentives

Energy Incentives In spite of the challenges presented with the reflective roof rebate program, "Energy Star Approved Roof Coatings" participating contractors receive up to a 50 cents per sq ft incentive to apply white roof systems on your roof.

  1. Reflects the sun's destructive heat and UV rays away from the roof and building.

Rubber roof coating is very practical. Instead of having the air-conditioning run twice as long without insulation, having the roof coated with our system, significantly reduces the heat that penetrates the home. No protection can also result to water and wind damage to the roof. The good thing with Rubber roof coating is that it is preventive. Spraying our rubber roof coating onto the roof and in between the tiles is a very cost efficient way to correct future problems. It is also an effective way to prevent those roof tiles or shingles from being blown off by strong winds during storms. The Original Liquid Applied Rubber Roof Shield System has proven to withstand over two hundred mile an hour winds. (See TAS-106 uplift test video) Which goes to show that it is very reliable. Rubber Roof Shield System also reduces the risk of dew point issues. Left untreated, this will later lead to water condensation. Water condensation or moisture that penetrates into the building is actually the primary reason behind the structure being damaged.

  2. Reduces roof temperatures

Our Roof Shield Sytem can reduce the roof surface temperature by up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit, thereby reducing the heat transferred into the building below. This helps to reduce energy costs (by keeping attics and ducts cooler), improve occupant comfort, cut maintenance costs, increase the life cycle of the roof, and reduce urban heat islands along with associated smog. The ability to protect and prolong the roof system life cycle by reducing the "thermal shock" stress associated with large temperature changes.

  3. Maintains cooler temperatures inside the building

Save on annual electricity bills by reducing summer air conditioning costs.
